custom kernel boot disk



Problem:

Need to build custom kernel'd bootdisk under slackware, containing drivers
for both eata_dma controller AND Adaptec 2940. This is the easy part. I
have the kernel built and have it on the floppy...the system starts to
boot but dies when trying to read the root disk.

Any ideas?
