Next Install Fest?

Hi All.

Question,

 

When will the next Install fest be?

That -or- would it be possible to hold a meeting (the regular monthly or a second for the month) on a Saturday, once or twice a year?

 

I really would like to join you folks in a meeting, but, I work nights and just can't make it.

So, I was wondering if possibly once or twice a year, a Saturday could be thrown in for those like myself who would attend if it wern't for work.

 

Also, has the group ever considered setting up a 'Linux Informational Table' at one of the local hamfests?

Many of the CD-Rom sellers at these fests usually have a couple copies of Linux for sell. There are TONS of prospective Linux users at these flea markets, and most Ham fests are looking for programs to host.

 Maybe a short talk about using linux along with demos of just what linux can actually do??????

 

Anyway, just a couple questions that haev been plauging me lately.

 

BTW, I took an Intro to Unix class this fall at Illinois Central College. They use RedHat to teach the class!

They will also have a Unix Administration Class this Spring.... yep, RedHat again!

The instructor also indicated that she would like to see a Linux Users Group started at ICC.!
