Springfield.pm: Tuesday, February 9 meeting (fwd)

We had to cancel last month's Springfield.pm meeting rather
unexpectedly...  We're going to try again tomorrow, in case any of you
were interested...

The next meeting of the Springfield Perl Mongers is tomorrow, Tuesday
February 9, 1999, at 7 pm at the Illinois State Museum Research and
Collections Center at 1011 East Ash Street in Springfield.

I'm sorry we had to cancel last month's meeting so abruptly.  I'm
assuming that all the snow we had put a bit too much stress on the
building.  In any case, let's home nothing like that happens again any
time soon.  :-)

Since last month's meeting had to be canceled, let's try again to
cover the topics I planned to cover then.  Hopefully we'll be able to
wrap up our tutorial for now.  The items we still need to cover
include the following:

    * File handles
    * Regular expressions
    * OO

Also, I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but Springfield.pm
is a member of the Computerfest committee this year, so we need to
start planning for what we want to do with our booth.  (Computerfest
is March 13, so we don't have much time left.  See
http://www.springfieldcomputers.org/ for more information.)

Of course, as always, bring any questions/problems/whatever that you
have and we'll do our best to answer them.
