I actually included KDE among examples to *refute* a contention that
desktop tasks were such as to limit design to the style of Windows 95.
I find KDE moreso resembles viewing file directories with Navigator.
This leads me to infer that KDE is also supposed to retrieve HTTP,
but I've yet to see that attempt do anything but spin its gears.
Haven't studied it much, as I don't expect it to take my preference.
I do hope enough success of KDE that more kgames are introduced--
I'll keep the libraries just so I can play 'em in fvwm. :)
Probably deserves a thread to itself, but in view of the existing
*selection* of desktops, of theories that popular use of Linux
demands another of beginner facility, it can only be guessed that
this popularity is sought among persons so satisfied to remain
incompetent as could not benefit from what the desktop organized.
