That's who I use for my ISP. I'm 5-6 miles from the elevator
as the crow flies. I have a 3 foot dish with 75 foot of coax.
My signal strength is very low - 4% according to the drivers,
and about 60-80% signal quality. (if I don't have it aimed
directly at their antenna the signal strength goes up to 10%,
but has 0 signal quality. For me it is very important that I
have a clear line of site. Any leave getting within the 3 foot
circle betweem my antenna and theirs results in loss of signal.
Other than that, it works well. As I recall I'm its a cisco 450
(but could be 350) aironet card that I use.
The $300 is the price on the internet. Call them and its usually
cheaper, but better yet, if anyone is interested in using them,
email me so I can put you in as someone I've referred so it get
a free month.
