Sendmail and DNS
Over the summer, one of the ancient Axil servers at my school finally
ceased to function. As a result we reorganized our servers and moved
the services it provided to a new machine. The new machine has a DNS
entry of mathax.truman.edu which is the old machine's name, but we are
migrating slowly to a new name mtcs.truman.edu. Is there a way to
tell sendmail to send messages from the box as user@mtcs.truman.edu
without changing the DNS entry (We don't have access to the DNS database.)?
