No.  XML is as related to HTTP as Postscript is related to a parallel
cable.  Sure, it *can* be transmitted over that medum, but it doesn't
have to be.  Look at www.xml.org.  The "Extensible Markup Language"
is really fairly neat, and was likely discussed at that meeting that
I also didn't make it to (stupid moving taking all my darn time).
