Dear Sir or Madam,

The Archer Daniels Midland Company is recruiting a computer professional
to service the needs of a small, specialized work group in it's Research
Division in Decatur, IL.  The candidate must be able to assume
administrative responsibilities for one UNIX (Digital alpha) and one
Linux server, with primary emphasis on that function for the first
several months.  Sysadmin will continue after that, but the emphasis
will shift to Perl programming (especially CGI and DBI related
applications), and relational database creation and/or administration,
in support of molecular biology research and bioinformatics.  Expertise
with the Apache web server, SQL, Java, C or C++, or other programming
languages would be a plus.  This will be a permanent, full time
position.
