I am going to assume that you wrote lilo to the mbr of your drive. The
easiest way to remove it (that i know of) would be to run
fdisk /mbr
using a win based boot floppy. I am not certain however if doing that will
allow you to continue booting to the os that is currently on your machine.
Just my 2 bits until i heard of a linux boot floppy solution.
