Charles,

You can't "upgrade" slackware to RedHat. That's like trying to upgrade
Windows NT to Novell.  Even though both Slackware and RedHat are Linux,
 they aren't interchangable.    Best thing to do would be to set up a new
box the way you want it and simply plug it in.  I'm assuming you're
referring to Motion's production machine, eh?
