Hi Erich,

I am trying to keep tabs on when, and for how long a Windows
client is on the network. I was thinking ouf using the smbstatus
command in the Samba package to regularly check the users
on each connection (check it about once or twice a minute with
a Perl script) to keep tabs on how long users are logged into
the network. Under NT you can setup auditing on logins, but
im not sure if there is something similar for Linux.
