Pah, Steve.  :-)

I've heard some praise from quite a few people. I think the biggest aspect of
Slack4 will be that PV and friends got off their arses and have upgraded Slack
to glibc2.

See the official Slack ChangeLog.
ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/linux/slackware-current/ChangeLog.txt

-- Glibc2 (YAY!)
-- KDE now is packaged (YAY!)
-- up-to-date RPM tools provided (Werks for me)
-- Installation method improved (Hah, crappy -> mediocure, I guess ;) )
-- Kernel 2.2.6
-- Many Upgrades
-- Many additions.

The above looks pretty sexy to me :) It's kinda nice to see a previously
static distribution start upgrading with frevor.

Perhaps I'll have to give Slack another testdrive in a couple months, assuming
SuSE6.1 (soon) doesn't keep me in extasy when I give it a try very soon.

See ya all tomorrow, erm, later today!
