virtual ftp

i am looking for some solid information about setting up domain-specific
virtual FTP on a linux machine. i need to specify a directory that is
specified as ftproot for a specific domain, further, i need to restrict
access to no anonymous, and specific users.
if anyone could please clue me in, or point me to a good reference, i
would appreciate it.
