Sure. My main machine (osiris, my K6) started life as a 386SX/16
running Slackware 2.0. I've managed to kill off most of the remains
of Slackware, but there still are a few...
osiris:~$ file /usr/games/tt
/usr/games/tt: setgid Linux/i386 impure executable (OMAGIC), stripped
osiris:~$ ls -l /usr/games/tt
-r-xr-sr-x 1 root bin 12032 Nov 24 1993 /usr/games/tt*
(Don't ask me why that's setgid bin. I have no clue. I'll be fixing
that ASAP. :)
Anyway, the machine looks like Red Hat 5.1 now...
osiris:~$ rpm -q redhat-release
redhat-release-5.1-2
So rpm-izing a Slackware box works nicely. :-)
