Does anyone know of a program on Linux for working with iPad backup files?

I had an old 64G iPad1, that the USB failed on, so I can no longer connect 
to it, and in trying to fix it, I wiped it. I think I have the backup 
files for it, and would like to retrieve the photos and stuff I had saved 
on it.

I have newer iPads but none are 64G.
