Webmail w/ Bells and Whistles

Looking for any suggestions for a new and shiny webmail. We currently run 
Squirrelmail, but I'm informed some people think it looks dated, so they'd 
like an alternative, already played with @mail didn't think much of it.

Really looking for something open source, as I've made heavy modifications 
to Squirrelmail to fit it into our way of operating. Send me some 
space-age ideas ;)
