And you can always click on the date of your event at
 
http://www.archlug.org/kwiki/ArchLUGCalendar

and add the details of your event. It will then show up in the calendar and
recent changes newsfeeds automatically.

You can even create a new page for your nascent organization and use the forums
or the kwiki if you don't have one of your own setup, and want a quick,
low-barrier-to-entry way to put up content, collaborate, or develop
presentations (the KwikiSlideShow feature is quite useful for this).

just send me an email and I'll set you up.
