Re: Upgrading from RH7.3 to FC1
I started on Steve's instructions that I posted to
http://www.archlug.org/kwiki/MigratingRedHatToFedora
but I'm getting a mesage about apt requiring some python and gnupg
libraries and it won't install.
I set the new source in /etc/apt/sources.list (and disabled all other
sources).
I did the 'apt-get update'. It went fine.
I did 'apt-get install apt' and it blew chunks.

So, what gives? Why does apt need python or gnupg? That seems awfully
... bloated for apt. It didn't seem to need these before.
I also tried apt-get -m and apt-get -f to see if that helped. Same
result - broken packages.
What now, brown cow?
