Webster University is seeking a talented and motivated web programmer who
can help us reach our enterprise application integration and support goals.
Successful candidates will demonstrate these qualifications:
Technical
---------
Perl, PHP, Java, JSP, XML, XSL, and SQL databases
LDAP, Microsoft ActiveDirectory, provisioning of services from an
enterprise directory
HTML, CSS, and web content management
Programming in Unix environments, but flexibility and willingness to
learn/use other languages and platforms
Experience programming secure solutions for sensitive data
Personal
--------
Effective communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and
staff
Ability to instruct others (including non-technical users)
Ability to work productively independently or on a team.
Logical approach to the solution of problems
Flexibility to choose the best tools to meet a given need without bias
toward a particular language or platform
Willingness to learn new languages as technology changes.
