MRTG graphing on sub-interfaces

I've recently enabled snmpd on a test server to experiment with mrtg
graphing. My test server has four sub-interfaces on eth0. 0:1 0:2 0:3 and
0:4. Each interface has a seperate IP address attached to it. A snmpwalk
against the host's ro string shows only eth0 for its Octetin and out. I
also only see info on eth0 in /proc/net/dev. The subinterfaces show no
information.
Is there a method of distinguishing line rates per sub inter-face?
