But they're still around $50 for the adapter. Steve has some suppliers for 
these if you want him to do the legwork of getting you a price for one 
separate (i.e. you already have the card). They're usually cheaper bundled 
with the card, though.

I needed a separate one, as when I bought my WAP, they threw in an extra card 
(but no adapter). Since I don't have a laptop....
