Re: .htaccess in apache 1.3.22



If your htdocs are deep in the system (/usr/local/httpd/htdocs), you may
want to note that a request for /pages/chuck/personal/test/index.html
will not only have to check test, personal, chuck, and pages for a
.htaccess, but also htdocs, httpd, local, usr, and  /.  Every time the
page is requested.  Disabling overrides until the lowest level possible
helps a lot... :)
