Please Help!

DNS is still not working with PPP on my new RH install.  The /etc/resolv.conf is correct.
I can ping those DNS servers.


The /etc/nsswitch.conf contains a line like this:

hosts:      files nisplus dns 



nslookup doesn't work.  It says ";; connection timed out; no servers could be reached"


I don't know what else to look for.  I am desparate for a solution.
