It should work fine, but you might have better results turning on
NFSv3 on the Linux side (assuming the HP-UX supports it). Just edit
/etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs and comment out the "RPCMOUNTDOPTS" line. (I'm
assuming this is Red Hat.)
