C++ Error: HELP!

I have just started learning The C++ Language. I
already know C. I have readomg my bood and have tried
to write a simple c++ program. But when I try to
compile it, I get the following message:

"cc: installation problem, cannot exec 'cc1plus'; No
such file or directory"

how can I correct this problem?
