Yes, redhat has that capability. You can install linus without damaging the
windows partition provided you have some spare drive (or partition as it is
called) with sufficient space for linux. When you will be in the
installation phase of linux, you will ask that drive to be erased and
install linux on that drive.
But if you have only one partition, and that has window on it, then i am
afraid , you will have to erase windows, make seperate partition for win and
linux and then install
