Netscape address book

Is it just me or has the Netscape address book quit
working as of 4.7x.  It seems to have happened at all
of the installations I've done.  I used to be able to
type the nickname and it work work - now it assumes
(incorrectly) I want to concatenate it with the domain
name.  I can't even use the button to select an
address - it kills off Netscape.  Is there a fix for this?
