Re: terminals and telnet
That's because when you're telnetting into a remote box, when you try to
run something, such as emacs, it attempts to open an X session which your
telnet session isn't authorized to do.
Now, I'm blanking as to whether or not you can tunnel X sessions over
telnet. I know you can over ssh.
Perhaps play with xhost and such.
