Actually, /usr/X11R6/bin/X should be a symlink to Xwrapper.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Feb 16 03:55 /usr/X11R6/bin/X -> Xwrapper
Xwrapper then executes /etc/X11/X, which should be a symlink to the
real server.
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 31 Feb 16 04:50 /etc/X11/X -> ../../usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_Mach64
