Re: slocate




Yeah, I use the locate command a lot and figured it was tied to
slocate.  The thing with slocate running is, it seems to not run when my
machine is on power management.   I leave the machine running all the
time, and just log in and log out in the evenings.  Only when I log in
does this thing run.  It seems like power management is preventing it
from running (my system goes into standby mode after a long period of
inactivity).  Is that possible?

How can I reschedule this cron job for another time?  I know nothing
about it.
