The next Newbie meeting will be this Tuesday, October 8, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The main topic will be about scanning photos in Linux. I'm faced with
scanning a couple of 18 gallon totes of pictures from my late
mother-in-law. There are lots of ways to do this, but are there any
easy ways?
The session will be at the Illinois State Museum Research and
Collections Center in Springfield, IL, located at 1011 E. Ash Street.
(The entrance is actually on 10 1/2 Street, between Ash and Laurel.)
