The next Newbie meeting will be this Tuesday, June 11, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Since Comcast will start encrypting all channels in 2 weeks, I'll talk a
bit on how this affects MythTV. (From its website: "MythTV is a Free
Open Source software digital video recorder (DVR) project distributed
under the terms of the GNU GPL.")
The session will be at the Illinois State Museum Research and
Collections Center in Springfield, IL, located at 1011 E. Ash Street.
(The entrance is actually on 10 1/2 Street, between Ash and Laurel.)
