LUCI: Linux Newbie Meeting - Tuesday Sept. 10

The next Newbie meeting will be this Tuesday, September 10, 7:00 - 9:00.
Erich Schroeder has offered to demo how the Museum video kiosk machines
are being set up.  This includes:
Install Redhat 7.3
Install apt for RPM
Grab updates using apt
Install Ogle (dvd player) and associated libraries

He may also set up a touch screen, but he thinks that doesn't seem very
"newbie".

As usual, the session will be located at the Illinois State Museum
Research and Collections Center in Springfield, IL, located at 1011
E. Ash Street. Follow the link on www.luci.org for a map and driving
directions.
