LUCI: Reminder - November 24 meeting (tonight!)
The next meeting of the Linux Users of Central Illinois is *tonight*,
Tuesday, November 24, 1998, at 7 pm at the Illinois State Museum
Research and Collections Center at 1011 East Ash Street in
Springfield. If you need directions, see the LUCI web site at
http://www.luci.org/
Tonight's meeting will mostly be driven by all of you. Bring any
Linux-related (even if only loosely related) questions you have to
tonight's meeting, and we will do our best to answer them. If you
have a topic you'd like to discuss (or just get some more information
about), let us know at the meeting, and we'll do our best to cover it.
If we have time, I'll also go through the process of configuring and
compiling a 2.1.x (soon to be 2.2.x!) kernel. There are a few minor
details required to make a 2.2.x kernel load modules the way a 2.0.x
kernel would because of changes to various drivers, so I'll go through
those also.
See you tonight. :-)
