Re: new SCSI adapter



I did that, then did a '/sbin/insmod sym53c8xx', and here's what dmesg reports:

Guess again.  :-)

Try "alias scsi_hostadapter sym53c8xx" (or whatever driver you decided
to try) in /etc/conf.modules.
