Sure. Glue it back on. :-)

Are you running an RPM-based distribution?  If so, you can reinstall the
"textutils" package from the CD-ROM.

A Debian system can do the same, with the Debian package.

Otherwise, you're running Slackware or some equivalent.  Find the
textutils tarball and re-untar it.  Something like "cd /; tar zxvf
<path>/textutils.tar.gz" or whatever.
