Re: hi

Well, if you push real hard, you might get in the amiga... :) I dunno -
there are a couple fo FAQ's on teh internet _somewhere_, although I don't
recall right off where, that are dedicated to AweXX under linux. Checking
my friendly bookmark file, I was led to these sites:

http://www.bright.net/~dlphilp/linux_soundapps.html#drivers is a general
sound site (the anchor's obviously the driver section)

specific to sound blaster:
http://www.iaccess.com.br/~fabio/docsb16fd.html
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/unmaintained/mini/MIDI+SB
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/unmaintained/mini/Soundblaster-16

specific to the Awe32/64:
http://bahamut.mm.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~iwai/awedrv/index.html
http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw/HOWTO/mini/Soundblaster-AWE.html
http://cqi.com/~humbubba/linux/AWE-kernhelp.txt
http://www.mandalux.com/soundfans/AWE32.html

That oughtta keep you occupied for a while... :)
